Teaching

I've taught classes of all kinds to students of all ages in five different countries.

As an adjunct faculty member, I taught composition to community college students in Texas, as well as dual-credit classes for high-school students offered by the college. I also taught rhetoric as a Teaching Associate at the University of Texas at Dallas.

As the lead AVID tutor at Del Campo High School in the San Juan Unified School District, I helped high-school students gain the skills necessary to achieve college admission.

As a private tutor, I visited homes to assist students from kindergarten through adult learners in a variety of subjects (most frequently Spanish).

I've taught drama to middle school students in Paris, France, and English as a Foreign Language (EFL) to students of all ages in the UK and Spain. I've also taught drama and playwriting to children and adults at the Woodland Opera House in Woodland, CA.
